2020 World Symposium on Electrical Systems (WSES 2020)

• The World Symposium on Electrical Systems was held in Guangzhou, China during December 19-21, 2020 successfully. Co-sponsored by Guangzhou University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, technically supported by Science and Engineering Institute etc. More than 100 participants from over ten countries attended the online conference, where discussions were held on ten different research areas related to electricity.

WSES 2020 于12月19日至21日成功召开。本次会议由广州大学，电子科技大学联合主办 , 美国科学工程协会等协办。 有来自十多个国家的100多人参加了线上会议。分别对电力方面的十个研究领域分别进行了汇报讨论。

Opening and Speeches
The conference chair Prof. Weihao Hu delivered opening remarks. Three IEEE Fellow professors from different countries made conference keynote speeches. They are Professor Bikash C. Pal from Imperial College, London, UK; Professor Adam Waldemar Skorek from University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres, Canad ; Professor Prasad Enjeti and Professor Le Xie from Texas A&M University, USA. Participating experts shared and discussed the latest research results in power engineering, sustainable and renewable energy.

We express our sincere appreciation to all the individuals who have contributed to WSES 2020 in various ways. Special thanks are extended to our colleagues in the program committee for their thorough review of all the submissions, which is vital to the success of the conference, and also to the members in the organizing committee and the volunteers who had delicate their time and efforts in planning, promoting, organizing and helping the conference.
