在全球能源结构深度调整、新型电力系统建设持续推进的背景下,2026年6月26日至28日,第二届国际电气系统研讨会(The 2nd World Symposium on Electrical Systems,WSES 2026)在新疆乌鲁木齐举行。本届大会由新疆大学与IEEE联合主办,新疆大学电气工程学院承办,并得到天津大学、中国科学院电工研究所、华北电力大学、华中科技大学、北京交通大学、西南交通大学、四川大学、兰州交通大学、中国电力科学研究院等多所高校及科研机构支持。

Opening and Speeches
The conference attracted nearly one hundred experts, scholars, young researchers, and industry representatives from various countries and regions. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the development of new power systems, the digital transformation of energy, the integration of high shares of new energy, and innovations in smart electrical technology, focusing on key technical challenges and future directions in the field of electrical engineering amidst the global energy transition. The conference officially opened on the morning of June 27, hosted by Professor Liu Muyang and Associate Professor Shi Yujun from the School of Electrical Engineering at Xinjiang University.
本次大会吸引了来自多个国家和地区的近百位专家学者、青年科研人员及行业代表参会。会议围绕新型电力系统建设、能源数字化转型、高比例新能源接入以及智能电气技术创新等前沿方向展开深入交流,聚焦全球能源转型背景下电气工程领域面临的关键技术问题与发展方向。 6月27日上午,大会正式开幕。大会由新疆大学电气工程学院刘牧阳教授、石玉君副教授主持。

Professor Ge Leijiao of Tianjin University, the conference chair, delivered the opening remarks. On behalf of the organizing committee, he extended a warm welcome to the participating experts and scholars and expressed sincere gratitude to colleagues from all sectors who have long supported the conference's development. Professor Ge noted that the field of electrical engineering is currently at a critical juncture where technological innovation and industrial transformation are deeply integrated; rapid advancements in areas such as new energy and the intelligentization of power systems are presenting both new opportunities and challenges for academic research and industrial application. He expressed hope that the conference would foster further academic exchange and collaboration, thereby driving innovative development in the field. Subsequently, Professor Zhang Jianjie, Party Secretary of the School of Electrical Engineering at Xinjiang University, delivered a welcome address. Representing the school, he welcomed the guests and outlined the achievements made in recent years regarding discipline development, talent cultivation, and scientific research innovation. He expressed the hope that the conference would serve as an opportunity to deepen cooperation and jointly promote high-quality development in electrical engineering. Associate Professor Zhong Weilin, the local conference chair and Academic Vice Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Xinjiang University, then introduced the overall arrangements and academic agenda. He noted that the conference would facilitate in-depth discussions on various cutting-edge topics in electrical engineering, expressing his anticipation that the exchange of ideas and sharing of research findings among experts and scholars would collectively advance academic innovation and technological progress.
大会主席、天津大学葛磊蛟教授首先致开幕辞。他代表组委会向与会专家学者表示热烈欢迎,并对长期支持大会发展的各界同仁致以诚挚感谢。葛磊蛟副教授指出,当前电气工程领域正处于技术创新与产业变革深度融合的重要阶段,新能源、电力系统智能化等方向快速发展,为学术研究与产业应用带来了新的机遇与挑战。他表示,希望通过本次大会进一步促进学术交流与合作,共同推动相关领域创新发展。随后,新疆大学电气工程学院党委书记张建杰教授致欢迎辞。他代表学院对与会嘉宾的到来表示欢迎,并介绍了学院近年来在学科建设、人才培养和科研创新等方面取得的成果。他表示,希望以本次大会为契机,进一步深化交流合作,共同推动电气工程领域高质量发展。大会本地主席、新疆大学电气工程学院学术副院长钟伟麟副教授随后介绍了大会整体安排及学术议程。他表示,本次大会围绕电气工程领域多个前沿热点展开深入交流,期待与会专家学者通过思想碰撞与成果分享,共同促进学术创新与技术进步。



During the keynote session, several distinguished experts delivered presentations on the frontiers of new power systems and energy technologies: Professor Yang Qiang (Deputy Director of the Institute of Electrical Automation at Zhejiang University, Deputy Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Energy Internet, and Director of the International Research Center for Advanced Electrical Systems); Professor Wang Bo (Deputy Dean of the Smart Grid Research Institute at Wuhan University, "Tianshan Talents" Distinguished Professor, and IET Fellow); Professor Jiang Tao (Deputy Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Northeast Electric Power University and a recipient of a national-level young talent program); and Professor Lai Jingang (Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a national-level young talent and Alexander von Humboldt Fellow). They systematically showcased the latest research findings and development trends in their respective fields, offering profound insights to the attending scholars.
主旨报告环节,浙江大学电气自动化研究所副所长杨强教授(能源互联网交叉研究中心副主任、先进电气国际研究中心主任),武汉大学智能电网研究院副院长、天山英才特聘教授王波教授(IET Fellow),东北电力大学电气工程学院副院长姜涛教授(国家级青年人才计划入选者),华中科技大学来金钢教授(国家级青年人才、德国洪堡学者)分别围绕新型电力系统与能源技术前沿作专题分享,系统展示了相关领域的最新研究成果与发展趋势,为与会学者带来了深刻启发。





The successful hosting of WSES 2026 further fostered the deep integration of cutting-edge theoretical research and engineering practice in the field of electrical systems, expanded the breadth and depth of international academic collaboration, and provided a vital platform for academic exchange and cooperation regarding the development of new power systems and energy transition.
WSES 2027 will be hosted by Nanjing Institute of Technology. We invite scholars and industry professionals from around the globe to gather in Nanjing—a city renowned as a historic hub of culture and learning—for this premier event dedicated to intelligent electrical systems, and to join us in envisioning the future of the field.
